Home/Resources/Safe Babies Approach: Evidence and Impact

Safe Babies Approach: Evidence and Impact

The Evidence and Impact handout presents key evaluation outcomes for children 0-3 and their parents supported by the Safe Babies approach.

The findings reflect the current evidence base for the Safe Babies approach, based on the multiple evaluation studies. Outcomes are presented by domain: Safety, Type of Permanency, Time to Permanency, Placement Stability, Child Access to Developmental Health Services, and Parent Access to Services. The handout also provides a snapshot of findings about improved cross-sector collaboration in Safe Babies sites.

The Safe Babies team is available for support in understanding and interpreting the evidence base for the Safe Babies approach. If you or your State and Site partners have questions or evaluation-related needs, email [email protected].
